Introducing my ocicat
"Abyrose Kayla"
Kayla joined our family at Christmas 2002. It didn't take long before she was friends with my other two cats, Senorita a retired Ocicat queen and Misty a retired Somali queen.
Because I travel to the shows with Jody I decided I may as well have a kitten of my own to show. Kayla attended her first show in March 2003. She exceeded our expectations and won Supreme kitten in show!!! She went on to keep up what she started and did exceptionally well as a kitten. Now she is 9 mths old and is competing in the neuter/spay adult section.
When Kayla is not at shows she enjoys sleeping in front of the fire, curled up with Senorita. On warm fine days she likes playing in our big garden & often chases bumble bees and butterflies. Unfortunately she still hasn't learnt, even after being stung twice that bumble bees sting! She is a great pet and keep us entertained with her antics. When we have visitors my 3 cats take turns at sitting on the visitors knees and they soon prove that they are not only beautiful but friendly and social too.
